Tanis Sawatsky

Tanis Sawatsky is an experienced intergovernmental policy analyst currently serving Sturgeon County since August 2018. Previously, Tanis held the position of administrative coordinator at the Town of Bon Accord from August 2016 to August 2018, where responsibilities included supporting executive management in agenda preparation, maintaining action lists, coordinating meetings, and managing budgets and audit processes. Tanis's experience spans various roles in administration and coordination in different sectors, including work as a camp coordinator at Valard Construction LP and a research assistant at the University of Alberta. Tanis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Soviet History and Spanish Language and Culture Studies from the University of Alberta and is pursuing a National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration while also holding a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Grant Macewan College.
