Joachim Charzinski is a Professor at Stuttgart Media University since June 2010, specializing in mobile networks, innovations, and security, with ongoing research in traffic and performance measurement and modeling. Prior to this role, Joachim served as a Principal Innovator at Nokia Siemens Networks from January 2007 to June 2010, focusing on network optimization innovations. Joachim also held the position of Research Coordinator at Siemens AG from October 1997 to December 2006, leading research in QoS, security, and network resilience as part of the BMBF KING project. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Stuttgart from January 1992 to September 1997, where Joachim investigated various network technologies and contributed to academic teaching. Joachim holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, earned in 1991.
