Derek Overstreet, PE, DBIA, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the transportation sector. Serving as Principal and Engineering Director at STV since August 2005, Derek oversees engineering operations for railroad, transit, and highway projects in Virginia and the District of Columbia as the Branch Manager of the Richmond, VA office. Prior to this role, Derek was a Project Manager at Banker Steel from May 2003 to August 2005. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Military Institute and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia.
