Michael Newman

Michael Newman is a seasoned civil engineer specializing in bridge design and inspection. Currently serving as a Bridge Engineer at STV since June 2018, Michael has extensive experience with vehicular, rail, and pedestrian bridge projects, adhering to multiple state code standards. Prior roles include Bridge Inspector and Designer at PRIME AE Group, Inc., where responsibilities involved inspections for various organizations including MDTA and US Navy, as well as design work. Michael's early career encompassed traffic engineering at Sidhu Associates, Inc. and internships at AECOM and the University of Maryland, focusing on data processing and traffic simulations. Michael holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and two Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
