Mike Naughton

Mike Naughton has held a variety of roles in the software engineering and development industry since 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Prep Cook at Country House Family Restaurant. Mike then held the role of Helpdesk Intern at the State of Iowa from 2007 to 2008, and Contract Programmer at the Iowa Department of Transportation from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they were a Database Consultant for John Mabry, Ph.D. and, from 2011 to 2013, they were a Back End Developer at 8/7 Central, a Software Developer at Hatchlings, and a Yiivangelist at Fundle. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Lead Developer at bHeroic, Inc. and, from 2014 to 2018, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at HBK Engineering, LLC. Finally, since 2018, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at StyleSeat.

Mike Naughton obtained a Certificate of Microcomputers from Des Moines Area Community College from 2006 to 2008. Mike then attended Iowa State University from 2007 to 2013, where they earned a B.S in Software Engineering and a B.S in Computer Science. In 2012, they attended the University of Virginia, though no degree was obtained. Finally, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago from 2016 to 2018.
