Stephan Renatus

Stephan Renatus has worked in the software engineering industry since 2013. Stephan started as a Cloud Consultant at cloudbau in 2013, and then took on a similar role at x-ion in 2014. That same year, they also began working as a Research Assistent at Fraunhofer AISEC. In 2015, they moved on to Chef Software as a Senior Software Engineer. Most recently, they have been a Senior Open Source Engineer at Styra since 2020.

Stephan Renatus obtained their Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz between 2006 and 2012. Stephan also holds a certification as an OPA Contributor from Badgr, which they obtained in April of 2022.
