Femke Wolting

Femke Wolting is the co-founder of Submarine, an independent studio that produces innovative drama series, documentaries, and animation for a global audience. Femke also worked as a curator at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, where they initiated and curated the Exploding Cinema section. Additionally, they held the role of programmaker/researcher at VPRO and was a member of virtueel platform.

Femke Wolting pursued their education at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1990, focusing on Journalism and media. Following this, they attended the University of Amsterdam from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Masters degree in Cinema Studies.
