Lauren Ambielli Cardoni

Lauren Ambielli Cardoni has a diverse work experience. Lauren began their career in 2011 as a Peer Mentor Team Leader for the New Student Program at Scripps College, where they were responsible for leading a group of eight student mentors and collaborating with members of the residence committee to plan events for first-year students. In 2013, they worked as an Exhibitions and Copywriting Intern at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery and as a French Language Tutor at Scripps College. In 2015, they were a Development Intern at the Royal Academy of Arts, where they assisted the Development department with copywriting projects and comparative research of patron benefit schemes. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Provoke Solutions as a User Experience Designer and Junior User Experience Designer. In 2018, they joined Boeing as a UX/Product Designer in the Digital Transformation Environment. In 2020, they moved to Wiser Solutions, Inc. as a Product Designer, and in 2021, they joined Submittable as a Senior Product Designer and then as a Product Design Manager.

Lauren Ambielli Cardoni attended The Overlake School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained their High School degree. Lauren then attended Scripps College from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and French Studies. In 2013, they attended the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne for Art History, Criticism and Conservation. Lauren then attended the Courtauld Institute of Art, U. of London from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained their Master of Arts degree in 19th Century Art History. Lauren is currently attending the University of Washington, where they are pursuing their Master of Science degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering. Lauren has also obtained certifications from the Nielsen Norman Group, The Interaction Design Foundation, and General Assembly.
