Monika Petrova, MBA, PMP, CSM, SAFe, has a wealth of experience in the fields of FinTech, Product Engineering, and Operations. Starting in 2011, they began their career as a Financial Services Trainee at Mutual of Omaha and a UW Student in the Mentor Program at Morgan Stanley. In 2012, they took on the role of Customer Service and Logistics Trainee at L'Oréal and began their tenure at City University of Seattle, where they held various roles from 2012 to 2020, including Adjunct Faculty, Program Director, Associate Program Director, Business Analyst, International MBA Program Coordinator, and Graduate Student Assistant. In 2015, they were elected President of the Puget Sound PMI, where they drove the chapter's strategic goals and developed career and leadership development opportunities for the members, volunteers, and Board officers. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Microsoft in various roles, including Product Program Manager for Xbox Product Marketing, Program Manager for Marketing and Consumer Business (MCB) Privacy, and Program Manager for the GSMO Field Performance Management Team. In 2019, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Technical Program Manager. Finally, in 2020, they became Director of Operations, Product Engineering at Bittrex, and in 2022 they joined Submittable as a Senior Product Manager, FinTech.

Monika Petrova, MBA, PMP, CSM, SAFe has an extensive education history. Monika obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management from City University of Seattle in 2016, an MBA in Finance from City University of Seattle between 2012 and 2014, a BSc International Management with American Business Studies from Alliance Manchester Business School between 2008 and 2012, and Business Administration and Management from University of Washington between 2010 and 2011. Additionally, they hold certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc. as a SAFe 4 Certified Agilist, from Scrum Alliance as a Certified ScrumMaster, and from Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
