Alena Viarheichyk

Alena Viarheichyk has a strong background in subsea engineering, with experience at several notable companies. Alena is currently working as a Principal Installation Engineer at Subsea7, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Saipem as a Subsea Design Engineer from January 2020 to April 2023. From February 2013 to August 2016, they worked at Technip as a Senior Subsea Design Engineer. Alena's career began at Helix Energy Solutions Group in September 2007, where they initially served as an Installation Engineer before being promoted to Lead Engineer/Installation Engineering Manager from August 2010 to February 2013.

Alena Viarheichyk obtained their Master's degree in Mechanics and Mathematics from Belarusian State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. In 2019, they also received a certification in Data Science and Big Data Analytics from MIT xPRO.
