Bruce Spence

Bruce Spence has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management, currently serving as HSSE Manager at Subsea 7 since December 2023. Previously, Bruce held the position of Project HSE Lead at Subsea 7 from October 2021 to November 2023, overseeing various projects, including BP Subsea and the Centrica Seven Seas Scour Project. Prior roles include HSE Business Unit Lead at Subsea 7 I-TECH LIMITED and Health & Safety Director at Royal Mail, where strategic health and safety initiatives were developed to enhance business performance. Bruce also contributed as an Associate at BMC Safety Ltd and served as Global IRM HSE Lead at Subsea 7 prior to the current role. Bruce’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Napier University, Edinburgh.
