John Burns

John Burns has extensive experience in the field of engineering and ROV operations, currently serving as an ROV Supervisor at Subsea7 since February 2013. Prior roles at Subsea7 include ROV Sub Engineer and ROV Pilot Technician, with expertise in operating and maintaining various ROV vehicles. John previously worked with the Royal Navy from August 2005 to November 2013 as an Aircraft Engineering Supervisor, focusing on avionics for the Harrier GR9/T12 and Seaking MkIV helicopters. Additionally, John was a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor from May 1999 to May 2005. John holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The Open University and a HNC in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Kingston University.
