John Girvan

John Girvan is a highly experienced professional in project and pipeline management, currently serving as Pipeline Group Package Manager at Subsea 7 since September 2018. In this role, John has overseen significant projects, including multiple Pipe in Pipe Systems for Aker BP and Shell, as well as extensive gas line installations. Prior to this, John held the position of Pipeline Group Package Lead at Subsea 7, managing high-profile projects for BP and Equinor. John's previous experience also includes serving as Project Manager at BAE Systems for the Type 26 Global Combat System and roles at Subsea 7 and Wartsila Arab Emirates, where John worked on engineering and installation projects for major clients. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Park Mains High School, Erskine.
