Gonzalo Martínez de Azagra

Gonzalo Martínez de Azagra is the Founder and General Partner of Cardumen Capital SGEIC, S.A., a global venture capital firm that invests in early-stage startups in sectors such as B2B deep tech, AI, Cyber, Big Data, and Foodtech since July 2017. Additionally, Gonzalo has assumed investment and board member roles in several companies, including Substrata, Verax AI, Bananaz, DoControl, Alison.ai, IVIX, NeuReality, Vendict, and Nagish. Gonzalo's educational background includes a Master of Engineering from Imperial College London and Télécom Paris, a BSc in Economics & Management from The London School of Economics, and an MBA in Venture Finance from the University of California, Berkeley. Gonzalo also completed the Kauffman Fellows program between January 2018 and November 2022.
