Louis Ricard

Louis Ricard has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Louis currently holds two positions – they are a Content Marketer at SubSummit and a Marketing Associate at SUBTA (Subscription Trade Association), both starting in October 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Louis worked as a Volunteer at AFS Intercultural Programs since January 2013, where they assisted teenagers in preparing to study abroad, taught them how to handle challenging situations in foreign environments, and helped welcome international students and ensure their smooth integration into the host families and schools.

From December 2019 to November 2021, Louis worked as a News Producer at Entercom, and in this role, they were responsible for producing news content. Furthermore, they served as a Co-Host at Lane Violation Podcast from October 2018 to August 2019, discussing various topics related to basketball.

In 2018, Louis had two roles – they were a Multimedia Reporter at Medill Reports from September 2018 to August 2019, where they contributed to multimedia news reporting, and also served as a Sports Writer at Grand Valley Lanthorn from June 2017 to April 2018.

Before these roles, Louis gained experience as a Student Caller at the Telephone Outreach Program of Grand Valley State University from January 2017 to April 2018. Louis also interned for the news department at WOOD TV8 from January 2017 to April 2017, assisting with scripts, shootings, and shadowing anchors and reporters.

Furthermore, Louis worked as a Tutor at Grand Valley State University from January 2015 to January 2017.

Louis Ricard completed their Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Journalism from Grand Valley State University from 2014 to 2018. Louis then pursued further education at Northwestern University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Sports Media Journalism from 2018 to 2019.
