Lisa Aronowitz

Lisa Aronowitz has a diverse work experience in the fields of dance education, talent development, and retail management. Lisa currently works as a Senior Talent Lead at Success Academy Charter Schools, where they help develop high school dance teachers, conducts professional development sessions, and manages performing arts teachers. Lisa has also held roles as a Content Lead and Dance Teacher for Success Academy HS for the Liberal Arts and as a Dance Teacher for the Middle Schools & Talent Grade Team Lead.

Prior to their work at Success Academy, Lisa served as the Creative Director for Dreams In Motion Dance Team, where they created and directed their own dance team and led performances at various venues and events. Lisa also worked as a Teaching Artist at Bronx Arts Ensemble, focusing on dance education, and as a Dance Coordinator and Dance Facilitator for El Puente de Williamsburg, Inc., teaching various dance styles and leading the El Puente Hip-Hop competition dance.

Lisa's experience extends beyond the dance industry, as they also worked as a Store Manager for Journeys, where they were responsible for managing a team, ensuring sales targets were met, and providing exceptional customer service. Lisa started their professional journey as an Arts & Education Intern at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Lisa Aronowitz attended Fordham High School for the Arts from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Regents Diploma with a focus on Dance. Lisa later enrolled at SUNY Westchester Community College from 2015 to 2016, studying Performing Arts with a specialization in Dance.
