Philip Volk

Philip Volk has a long history of professional experience. In 1978, they began their career as an Officer in the Australian Army, where they gained experience in leadership and process. In 1998, they became the Principal of Bevington Consulting. From 2002 to 2009, they were the Founder and Co-Owner of wealth management, coaching and Sri Lankan paraplanning businesses. During this time, they also founded Horizons Wealth, where they served as Executive Chairman from 2009 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Member of the Board of Advisors at Deakin University. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Board Member at RI Advice Group. Currently, they are a Partner at Succession Plus and a Board Member at Bendigo Community Bank Bellarine.

Philip Volk completed an Executive Coach Certification Programme from Coaching Australia in 2013. Philip then went on to receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in 1992-1993, focusing on Strategy, HR, and Marketing. From 1987-1998, they attended the University of Canberra and obtained a Grad Dip Management Sciences, with a focus on Strategy, Finance, and Decision Making. Philip then attended UNSW and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1978-1982, focusing on Economics, Maths, and Theirtory. Lastly, they attended RAN Staff College in 1995 and obtained a psc(N), with a focus on Management, Military Strategy, and Joint Force Operations.
