Scott Duke

Scott Duke has a diverse work experience. Scott started their career in 2005 as the Owner of Basecamp, a wakeboard facility that they grew to four locations. In 2010, the company was liquidated. In 2011, they founded Stoke FM, a non-profit community radio station. In 2012, they and a business partner bought Revelstoke Property Services, a company they grew by 10x and sold in 2018. From 2014 to 2018, Scott worked as a Managing Broker at Welstand Group and a City Council Member at the City of Revelstoke. In 2018, they also began working as a Course Instructor at the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. In 2021, Scott became the VP Canada of Succession Plus, responsible for the growth and distribution of their Capitaliz software throughout Canada and the western US. Scott is currently the Founder of OpnRoad, where they help shareholders of privately held corporations with revenues between $2M and $20M.

Scott Duke has a diverse educational background. Scott earned a Bachelor of Computing from the University of Guelph in 2004, majoring in Computer Science and Business. Scott then obtained a Licensed Managing Broker, Property Manager, Strata Manager, Trading Services from UBC Sauder School of Business between 2011 and 2015. In 2014, they obtained a Certified Business Intermediary from IBBA University and a Certified Value Builder from The Value Builder System in 2016. In 2017, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Jack Welch Management Institute, majoring in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certified Exit Planning Advisor from Exit Planning Institute in 2022, a Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) from Alliance of M&A Advisors in 2019, a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) from Capitaliz, and a Certified Value Builder from The Value Builder System in 2014.
