Pierre-Alix Favillier

Pierre-Alix Favillier has extensive experience in the base metals trading sector, currently serving as Head of Base Metal Options at Sucden Financial since July 2023. Previously, Pierre-Alix held the position of Base Metal Options Trader at Marex from April 2021 to April 2023 and worked as Vice President - Metals at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking from July 2015 to June 2019, focusing on LME base metal options and forwards. Prior to this, Pierre-Alix was Vice President - Base Metals at Jefferies, where responsibilities included LME base metal options trading. Early career experiences included roles as a Laboratory Tutor at UCL and internships at Prudential Bache Commodities LLC, Lloyd's Register, and Laboratoires Expanscience. Pierre-Alix holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from UCL and a Baccalauréat from Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle de Londres.
