Sudan Development Foundation

Sudan Development Foundation (SUDEF) is a 501(C)3 non-profit with offices located in Burlington, Vermont and Juba, South Sudan. SUDEF was founded by Sudanese diaspora in 2009. SUDEF helps rural villages in The Republic of South Sudan helps local communities identify problems and then offers the community ways to participate in finding solutions that they are participate in to create healthy, sustainable self-supporting communities. These community based projects are built, managed and maintained by the local community. Currently SUDEF has a health clinic serving over 25,000 in rural South Sudan and the community is now finishing thier own Maternal & Child Health & Training Center. SUDEF also plans on providing the resources to rural communities to create Centers for Skill and Business Development and Adult Literacy and Education.
