Astrid Weiss

Astrid Weiss currently serves as the Managing Research & Innovation Network in agriculture for the Südtiroler Bauernbund, overseeing strategic network management and cluster development on various levels. With a robust background in innovation consulting and project management, Astrid has played key roles in establishing and leading teams, managing public and private initiatives, and facilitating innovation consultations for agricultural enterprises. Additionally, Astrid is a member of the council for science, research and innovation in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano Bozen - Südtirol and holds a position on the board of Wnet - networking women. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Fraunhofer Italia Research, where significant emphasis was placed on project management and strategic development. Astrid holds multiple degrees, including an M.Sc. in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and continues to enhance professional qualifications through various certificates and educational pursuits.
