François Carmantrand

François Carmantrand currently serves as the Head of Development for the Smart Environmental Solutions Global Business Line at SUEZ, a position held since January 2007. With extensive experience in international business, François previously held the role of Deputy Head in the International Division, focusing on CIS countries, including Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Prior to joining SUEZ, François was the Regional Sales Director at Safran, managing sales for Electronics, Defence, Aerospace, Security, and Biometry from August 2000 to December 2006. François's career began at Thales as a Regional Sales Manager for Telecom Systems & Networks and included a role as Key Account Executive at AXA Gulf in the insurance industry. François possesses advanced degrees in Defence/Public Law, Political Science, and has studied at prestigious institutions, including Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, Université Jean Moulin, and Sciences Po Lyon.
