Megan Heckman is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations, communications, and marketing. Currently serving as the Senior Deputy County Clerk at the Office of the Suffolk County Clerk, Megan previously held key roles such as Office Manager at Hamptons Baby Gear, Communications Assistant for the New York State Senate, and Owner of Social Circle Consulting. With a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from James Madison University, Megan has effectively managed business operations, developed e-commerce and marketing strategies, and fostered vendor relations throughout their career. Their diverse experience also includes community involvement, illustrated by a candidacy for Southampton Town Trustee and leadership as Volunteer Director of Operations for Natasha's Justice Project.

Suffolk County was created one of the original counties in the colony of New York in 1683. The first county Clerk, Ezra L'Hommedieu was also a member of congress. Our current County Clerk, Judith A. Pascale is the second women to hold the office.
