Andrew Ly is the co-founder and CEO of Sugar Bowl Bakery, a family-owned business that was established in 1984. Andrew and their four brothers started the bakery after immigrating to the US as poor refugees from Vietnam and pooling their savings. Prior to this, Andrew had experience as a farmer in their family's farm and worked as an entrepreneur in a neighborhood grocery store. In 2023, they also served as the co-founder and chairman of Ly Brothers Corporation, the parent company of Sugar Bowl Bakery.
Andrew Ly attended San Francisco State University from 1984 to 1986 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Accounting.
