Shawn Patenaude P.e.

Shawn Patenaude, P.E. has extensive experience in civil engineering and education. Currently serving as the Snowmaking Department Manager at Sugarbush Resort since October 2017, Shawn oversees project management for capital improvement and construction projects while maintaining the snowmaking system. As an Adjunct Instructor at Norwich University from January 2018 to May 2023, Shawn taught Fluid Mechanics and Intro to Engineering courses. Prior roles include Manager of the Dam Engineering Group at DuBois & King, Inc. from November 2008 to June 2017 and Project Engineer at both Weston & Sampson Engineers and DuBois & King, Inc. Shawn began the career as a CPT Technician at Applied Research Associates, Inc. from 1995 to 1997. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont and an Associate in Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College.
