David Cumpston

David Cumpston is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical leadership and nursing. Currently serving as the National Clinical Lead at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing since January 2020, David has also held roles as Clinical Lead for the North and Clinical Nurse Manager within the same organization. Prior to this, David worked at NHS Blood and Transplant from May 2018 to December 2019 as a Specialist Nurse Organ Donation. David began a career in nursing at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, serving as an Intensive Care Nurse from April 2013 to April 2018. David holds a Diploma in Registered Nursing from Birmingham City University (2006-2010) and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Aston University (1999-2004).
