Melissa Mills McLoota, SPHR, has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Melissa began their career in 1997 as Training Manager at Vail Resorts. In 2001, they moved to Vail Cascade Resort and Spa as Human Resources Manager. In 2007, they joined HR Link as Principal Consultant. In 2009, they became OD and HR Manager at Sonnenalp Resort of Vail. In 2011, they returned to Vail Resorts as Talent Acquisition Manager, Vail and Beaver Creek. In 2014, they joined Eagle River Water and Sanitation District as Human Resources Manager. In 2021, they moved to QuietKat, Inc as Human Resources Business Partner. Currently, they are Vice President of People and Culture and Director of People and Culture at Sugarwish.

Melissa Mills McLoota, SPHR, attended St. Andrew's School, Delaware from 1986 to 1989 and Guilford College from 1989 to 1994.
