Maya Dutta is a Master's candidate at the Yale School of the Environment, specializing in Ecosystem Management and Conservation as well as Water Resources Science and Management. Currently serving as a SUGi Forest Maker after completing training in the SUGi Fellowship program, Maya also holds the position of Director of Regenerative Projects at Biodiversity for a Livable Climate, focusing on project management, partnerships, and advocacy related to Miyawaki forests. Previous roles include Outreach and Operations Manager and Research and Outreach Coordinator at InterSystems, where software development was also part of Maya's responsibilities. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Chicago, an Ecosystem Restoration Design Certification from Gaia Education and Ecosystem Restoration Camps, and current studies at Yale.
