Vaishnavi Nandanam has a varied work experience. In 2020, they were an Operations Associate at Suki. Prior to this, they were an ER Medical Scribe at Regional Medical Center, Vituity from 2018. In 2017, they were Shadowing at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Research Assistant at the Language and Development Lab at UCSD. During this time, they led multiple nomothetic and idiographic studies under Dr. Katie Wagner. Vaishnavi also did data gathering using animated schemes, typically a giraffe's daily adventure through the park, to capture children's attention while testing their comprehension of different words. Additionally, they supported the development and implementation of studies centered around children's understanding of color words, and used adults understanding of color words as a control group to test against those of children.
