Alessandro Comar has extensive experience in financial and business management, currently serving as Business Optimization Manager for the Water & Industrial Business Unit and Managing Director for Italy at Sulzer since December 1999. Comar's career began as Finance Manager at Corticella Molini e Pastifici from February 1994 to November 1999, followed by a role as Finance Manager and Shareholder at Alpe Edilizia srl from June 1990 to January 1994. Early experience includes working as an Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand from August 1988 to April 1990. Comar transitioned to Sulzer, initially as Financial Manager in ABS Italy until 2007, then becoming Regional Controller for Northern Europe and Scandinavia, and later assuming the role of General Manager for the Italian subsidiary. Additionally, Comar served as Head of EMEA South for Sulzer Pumps Municipal Water Segment from January 2013 to April 2024. Comar holds a Laurea in Economia e Commercio from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, completed in 1986.
