Gaurav Agrawal

Gaurav Agrawal is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as a Process Technology Expert in Separations at Sulzer since March 2024, with a focus on commercializing sustainable technologies. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Director at Origin Materials, where Gaurav led disruptive technology initiatives to scale up patented biomass conversion technologies and simplified separation flowsheets. A significant tenure at ExxonMobil encompassed roles from Research Engineer to Senior Research Engineer, where Gaurav developed membrane technologies for separation and enhanced modeling platforms for oil hydroconversion processes. Gaurav holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
