Jim McAlinden

Jim McAlinden is an accomplished professional in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Director of Applications Engineering at SUMCO since November 2002, with prior roles including General Manager and Senior Manager in the same field. McAlinden specializes in the technical sales of silicon wafers produced in Japan and the USA. Previous experience includes positions at Intel Corporation as Senior Quality Engineer and Applications Engineer, as well as Process Engineer roles at SUMCO. McAlinden holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of New Mexico, a Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Improvement from Trinity College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from Ulster University, along with a Diploma in Engineering from Newry College of Further and Higher Education.
