Steve Kirby

Steve Kirby has a wealth of experience in the agricultural industry. Steve began their career at Rhône-Poulenc Inc, where they served as the Marketing Director from 1994 to 1996. Steve then moved on to Rhône-Poulenc Canada, where they were the VP/General Manager, leading a team and building the business and market share in Canada. At Rhône-Poulenc Agro France, Steve served as the Director of Marketing, Development, and Registration from 1997 to 2000. Steve then joined Bayer CropScience, occupying various country and global positions in General Management, Marketing, and Sales from 1977 to 2004. At Bayer CropScience, Steve also worked as the Sales Director for France from 2000 to 2002. Following their tenure at Bayer, they joined Sumitomo Chemical as the Marketing and Development Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from 2004 until now. In 2014, Steve became the Head of Strategic Marketing at Certis Europe.

Steve Kirby completed their BSC (Honors) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Reading, UK, between 1973 and 1976. Steve also obtained a Diploma in International Business from CEDEP, France, during the period of 1992 to 1993.
