Luiz Hernando Vidal

Luiz Hernando Vidal has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the supply chain and production fields. Luiz Hernando most recently worked as the Industrial Director at Sumitomo Chemical Latin America starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Supply Chain Director LATAM at quantiQ Caldic from 2021 to 2022. From 2012 to 2021, they worked at Syngenta as the Production and Supply Chain Director, where they oversaw the implementation of production and supply chain processes for sugarcane seeding products.

Before joining Syngenta, Luiz worked at Adama Brasil as the Production and Supply Chain Director from 2009 to 2012, where they redesigned the supply chain and implemented a new demand and supply planning process. From 2007 to 2009, they were the Production and Supply Director at FMC, where they implemented a long-term CAPEX plan and focused on operational excellence.

Prior to that, Luiz worked at Monsanto Company as both a Production Manager and Procurement Manager from 2003 to 2007. Luiz Hernando implemented a long-term CAPEX plan, improved operational processes, and implemented a purchasing strategy.
