Mike Young

Mike Young has extensive work experience in the field of IT, primarily focusing on Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation and consultation. Mike started their career in 2001 as an Oracle Applications Consultant at Huber Engineered Materials and later worked on upgrade projects at PTC and The Mentor Network. From 2004 to 2008, they served as an Oracle eBusiness Suite Consultant at Kronos, leading implementation projects and upgrades. In 2007, they worked as an Oracle Implementation Consultant at NetScout Systems, leading the conversion from the company's legacy ERP system to Oracle eBusiness Suite. From 2008 to 2009, they were an Oracle Consultant at Starent Networks, where they designed and implemented a custom Revenue Recognition solution. Mike then worked as an Oracle eBusiness Suite Consultant at Millipore in 2009, specializing in Project Accounting and system upgrades. From 2010 to 2022, Mike held various roles at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, including Director Business Relationship Management - IT and Senior Business Systems Manager. Currently, they are the Director of Corporate IT at Sumitomo Pharma America Holdings, Inc.

Mike Young attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a BS degree in Finance. Mike specialized in both General Finance and Corporate and Investment Finance. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications in Business Analysis from Corporate Education Group and Project Management from WPI Online and Corporate Education.
