Alex Minder

Alex Minder has over 40 years of experience in engineering, procurement, and sales support within the technology sector. Currently serving as Sales Support Manager at Sumitomo Electric since August 2008, responsibilities include providing sales support to major global accounts and resolving supply chain issues. Prior roles include Supplier Commodity Manager at Cisco, managing a $20M annual procurement budget for optical components, and Strategic Commodity Manager at Verigy Ltd. Earlier in the career, Alex worked at M&G Ventures as an Investment Manager, at Agilent Technologies in various planning and engineering roles, and at Hewlett-Packard as a Manufacturing Development Engineer and Production Manager. Alex holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the State University of New York Cortland.
