Nick Pedersen

Nick Pedersen has a diverse and extensive work experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Nick is currently the Head of Direct Sourcing at SMBC Group, responsible for creating and scaling the direct sourcing function within the company. Prior to this, they worked at Dune as the Fractional Head of Talent and later as the Head of Talent, where they managed the entire talent and recruitment function and led diversity and inclusion initiatives. Before that, they founded Vekst Up Ltd., a consultancy providing services to high-growth tech startups and scale-ups, focusing on improving talent processes with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Nick has also held talent acquisition roles at various companies, including UBS, Zalando SE, Improbable, BCG Digital Ventures, Babylon Health, and BCG Digital Ventures. Overall, Nick Pedersen has a successful track record in talent acquisition and has been involved in scaling and improving talent processes in various organizations.

From 2003 to 2007, Nick Pedersen attended Keele University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a focus on HR management and law.
