Reinaldo R. E. has extensive experience in the field of operational and cyber resilience. Reinaldo R. is currently working as a Vice President - Cyber Resilience at SMBC Group since June 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President - Operational Resilience Assurance at Goldman Sachs from June 2020 to March 2023. Reinaldo R. also served as a Member of the Third Party Resilience Forum at SIFMA from October 2020 to January 2023. Reinaldo R. E. has held various roles related to risk analysis, crisis management, and business continuity in organizations such as the Financial Systemic Analysis and Resilience Center, FS-ISAC, SIFMA, and the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council. Reinaldo R. started their career as a Management Consultant - Cyber Assurance and Resilience at Booz Allen Hamilton and later worked at Fannie Mae and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston.

Reinaldo R. E. holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Policy Analysis from Cornell University. Reinaldo R. is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in International/Global Studies from Harvard University. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Business Continuity Professional from DRI International and as a Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP)/Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program from FEMA.
