Sky Yu

Sky Yu has extensive experience in the financial industry, starting in 2004 as a Software Engineer at Marrakech. They then joined Citi in 2008, first as a Technology Analyst during a summer internship, and later as an Apps Dev Sr. Programmer Analyst Front Office IT. In 2009, Sky Yu moved to Macquarie Group as a Software Developer. From 2013 to 2022, they worked at Societe Generale, holding roles such as Senior Developer, Team Leader, and Head of Credit Distribution and Emerging Markets eTrading Front Office Technologies. Currently, Sky Yu is the Front Office Business Applications Team Lead at SMBC Group.

Sky Yu earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Technological University Dublin from 2002 to 2005. They then obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Advanced Computer Science from The University of Manchester in 2005-2006. Subsequently, Sky Yu pursued a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Semantic Web and Workflow Systems from The University of Manchester from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their academic background, Sky Yu also holds certifications such as Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) from ICAgile and an Investment Administration Qualification from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI), obtained in 2021 and 2010, respectively.
