Mohit Shenvi

Mohit Shenvi is an experienced Development Engineer specializing in simulation and analysis, currently employed at Sumitomo Rubber USA since April 2024. Prior to this position, Mohit served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from January 2019 to April 2024, contributing to projects that focused on tire traction data analysis, snow property characterization, and off-road tire performance, resulting in multiple journal and conference publications. Mohit has also completed internships at Sumitomo Rubber USA and Smithers, where responsibilities included correlating simulation data, winter tire traction evaluation, and vehicle performance tasks. With a solid educational background, Mohit holds a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Sandwich Engineering.
