Mahesh Iyavoo

Mahesh Iyavoo currently serves as GM Finance at Sumitomo Rubber South Africa (Pty) Ltd., a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Mahesh worked at Hesto Harnesses, progressing through various titles including Senior Manager: Finance and ICT, Finance Manager, and Cost and Management Accountant from February 2017 to February 2023. Mahesh began a career in finance as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from February 2014 to January 2017, where extensive problem-solving skills were developed during a traineeship, particularly in auditing complex financial areas. Mahesh holds a Management Development Programme from Stellenbosch Business School, a Post-graduate Diploma in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, both from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Education was completed at Glenwood High School.
