Tony Dong

Tony Dong is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching English as a Second Language and Mandarin. Currently, Tony serves as an English ELL Instructor at the Summer Institute for the Gifted since July 2014 and works part-time as a substitute teacher for DUSD since August 2013. Previously, Tony taught Mandarin at Piedmont Middle School during the 2011-2012 academic year. Educational qualifications include a post-graduate diploma and multiple subject credential from San Francisco State University, as well as a diploma in education focused on ESL from Chinese University of Hong Kong. Additional credentials include a Higher Certificate in Translation from City University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Hong Kong Baptist University.
