For more than twenty years, Tina Martinez has worked and volunteered with organizations that aim to build stronger communities by enabling children and families to thrive. As Director of Experiences & Partnerships at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS), Tina works with community members, educators, scientists, partners, and Museum teams to co-vision and create meaningful experiences that connect people across Colorado with nature and science—at the Museum, virtually, and in their communities. Prior to joining DMNS, Tina was the Chief Program Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. Tina is the recipient of several awards including Southwest Professional of the Year from BGCA, RM-SAHM’s President’s Recognition Award for Outstanding Service to Improve the Health and Well-being of Adolescents, Volunteer of the Year at Edison Elementary School, and Colorado Rockies Hispanic Leadership Award finalist.
