John Paul Laporte

John Paul LaPorte is an accomplished performer with extensive experience in dance, acting, and singing across various prominent theatrical productions. Current roles include Dance Captain and Eddie in "Mamma Mia" at Flat Rock Playhouse and "Pepe" in "West Side Story" at Maltz Jupiter Theatre. LaPorte has been affiliated with the Metropolitan Opera since October 2016, contributing as a swing in multiple productions such as "Don Carlos," "Boris," and "Agrippina." Additionally, the performer has worked with American Ballet Theatre in productions like "Whipped Cream" and "Le Bayadere," and has been an NBA Playoffs Dancer since June 2014. LaPorte's early work includes roles in productions at Westchester Broadway Theatre and Fiddlehead Theatre, among others. A graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, LaPorte continues to build a diverse and dynamic portfolio in the performing arts.
