Derek Brydon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare construction and project management. As the Director of Health at Summers-Inman since July 2014, Derek leads a team focused on navigating the evolving healthcare sector within the construction market. Prior to this role, Derek spent 25 years at Laing O'Rourke, serving as the Commercial & Partnership Manager where responsibilities included implementing systems for effective bid management and project delivery, as well as overseeing regional healthcare schemes as the NHS ProCure21 National Commercial Lead. Derek holds distinguished qualifications, including MRICS and MCIOB, from Northumbria University.
