Gregory Platt

Gregory Platt has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gregory started their career as a Controller at Express Oil Change, responsible for financial reporting for multiple companies. Gregory later served as a CPA at Gentle, Pickens, and Turner before becoming the CFO for Four Star Group, a local home builder. Gregory then moved on to become the Finance Director of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, where they established a job costing system and managed cash flow. Gregory then worked as a Controller at Dorothy McDaniel's Flower Market before becoming the Corporate Controller at Cumberland Companies. Gregory also worked as a Contract Consultant before their most recent role as the Chief Financial Officer at Summertown Metals.

Gregory Platt obtained their Associate of Science degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Jefferson State Community College from 1988 to 1991. Gregory then went on to earn their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1991 to 1994. In 1997, they obtained their CPA certification from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.
