Katie Koval

Katie Koval is an experienced physician currently serving as an Attending Physician at Trident Medical Center and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina since November 2018. Previously, Katie worked as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at Northwest Emergency Associates and Stanford University Hospital, where also completed an International Emergency Medicine Fellowship. Katie's medical training includes an Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Early career roles included research positions at the Johns Hopkins International Vaccine Access Center and various research aide roles at the Medical University of South Carolina and Duke University.
