Nick Connors is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and academic instruction. Currently serving as Program Director for the HCA Healthcare/Mercer University SOM/Trident Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency and an Attending Physician at TeamHealth since April 2020, Nick also holds the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Previous roles include Consultant at the Palmetto Poison Center and Affiliate Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Nick has also worked as an Emergency Physician at St. John's Riverside Hospital and completed a Medical Toxicology Fellowship at New York University School of Medicine. Nick's medical training culminated in a Doctor of Medicine degree from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, following a Bachelor's Degree in History with a Chemistry minor from Boston College. Early career experiences include teaching at Nativity Preparatory School New Bedford as part of Americorps.
