Angela Chu

Angela Chu is an experienced professional in the fields of ecology and science communication, currently serving as a Department Manager and Nursery Associate I at Summerwinds Nursery since November 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Laboratory Assistant and Research Assistant at Oono Lab at UC Santa Barbara, as well as an Undergraduate Research Assistant focused on genetic tracing techniques in seed viability. Additionally, Angela has contributed to habitat restoration efforts as a student worker at the Cheadle Center for Biodiversity and Ecological Restoration. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolution and a minor in Science Communication from UC Santa Barbara, and is currently furthering education at Foothill College.
