Jana Steen

Jana Steen has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to the present. Jana currently holds the role of Corporate Communications & Events Lead at Summit 7 since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Port of Huntsville - Huntsville International Airport as a Public Relations & Customer Service Manager from December 2014 to April 2021. Jana also gained significant experience at CBL & Associates Properties, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Group Marketing Director in Nashville from March 2009 to November 2014, and Marketing Director & Assistant Mall Manager at Parkway Place in Huntsville, AL from January 2007 to February 2009. Before that, they served as the Marketing Director at Bonita Lakes Mall in Meridian, MS from August 2005 to January 2007, and as Assistant Marketing Director at Madison Square Mall in Huntsville, AL from February 2004 to August 2005. Jana's earlier work experience includes a role as Group Promotions Director / Account Executive at Rocket City Broadcasting from August 2001 to February 2004.

Jana Steen received their BA in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations from Jacksonville State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they obtained the Inbound Marketing Certification and the Digital Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy in February 2022. Furthermore, Jana has achieved the Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, expected to be obtained in 2023. Lastly, they are also a Certified Member (CM) of the American Association of Airport Executives Purdue Chapter.
